My daughter often likes to walk around the house barefoot. Any type of footwear I try to make her wear she will remove instantly when I’m not looking. This is why I’m thinking it would be better if we have a carpet and not tiles for our floors. It would be more comfortable for a toddler to walk around on and I don’t have to worry about the cold floors she is walking on so much. I’m thinking about the cleaning involved too but we have a pretty good vacuum cleaner and I think it will do the job well. As for stains well I’ll figure out how to deal with them. I know there are discount carpet available at certain stores so we could really get a good price. I haven’t told this idea to my husband yet though, we’ll see what he says. Another idea would be to have laminate flooring installed but I think carpet is the better way to go. And speaking of carpet, I didn’t know there was a carpet like Empire Today carpets that are good for homes with pets. From the Empire Carpet Stories I’ve read online I say they have a great selection and good quality as well.
