She’s officially two!!!
The princess is still sleeping and so is daddy. We have a busy day ahead of us that’s why I’m up early. I’ll cook a little feast for the family later and the cupcakes will be delivered this afternoon. Hoping for a nice weather so we can go to the rooftop garden for some pictures.
My dad loves his job because it allowed him to see a lot of different countries. From Europe to the Caribbean to Alaska, he’s been everywhere. Our home show how much he has traveled because he takes home little trinkets of the countries he has visited. As a child we always loved listening to his stories, whether he’s telling us how cold it is in Alaska or about the hotel in las vegas we would listen to him intently. I can’t wait til they come visit us in February. He’s never been to Singapore so I’ll be the one telling him stories this time.
Iyah’s birthday.
Everything is set, well almost.
So far we have 18 kids and 7 babies confirmed coming to the party. It could be more ![]()
We’re just counting days now! Party planning updates…
I know there will be a few coming with their babies on it. We will bring Iyah’s Mclaren too and we need an area for that won’t get in the way. Afterall strollers are really helpful towing a little one around. It is by far one of the most useful baby item we’ve purchased.
That’s all I can think of right now. We should be fine. Phew I get stressed out when the event is getting near, I hope all goes well.

I realized I will be busy with the two parties we’ll be having so I extended the deadline for the contest so I’ll have time to sort everything out.

A picture of the little girl at the botanical gardens last Friday. It was a nice family day for us and she enjoyed running around all over the grounds of the gardens. This is one of the few shots of her actually looking at me. It was fun though watching her play in a wide open space and around beautiful flowers. I’ll post more photos next time.
How cute are these little cupcake clippies? I think I’m going to order these and a bunch of other cute clippies. I was suppose to look at several life insurance quotes when I got sidetracked with online window shopping again. Since the little girl’s hair is now long enough for pigtails I figured I should buy more clippies for her. Oh it’s going to look so cute with her new outfits.
I’m a full time mom and moms like me get a little or no time at all to go and pamper ourselves. Before I had Iyah I was the wife who always go for facials and pedicures and other girly stuff that makes me feel good and relaxed. Now I’ve traded my facials for more playtime, reading at the library and other things that moms do with their little daughter. Fortunately I don’t have acne so I don’t have to worry too much about my skin but I do miss getting facials every month.I guess my priorities are different now.
Mommy chores can sometimes be challenging. When you have an little girl who loves the word “NO” it gets even trickier to get things done. I love my daughter to bits but yes she does drive me crazy sometimes, of course she knows how to turn that around by just being her cute and adorable self again. I want to get more time to exercise but juggling working online, the projects I’m doing, teaching, playing and taking care of the little girl and the husband does make it difficult. No I still don’t think taking a diet pill is a good idea for me. I’m deathly afraid of the side effects but I’ve heard some success stories from people who used it. I guess I just want to do this in the old fashion way.
Saturday 9: Let’s Get Ready to Rumble
1. When was the last time you lost your temper with someone?
–It was last Friday I think.
2. What was it about?
–Not really a big deal, I just hate seeing clutter in the living room and my husband is the culprit. You’d think he’ll be done fixing his RC now but no there’s always something to be added and there’s always boxes here and there.
3. Were you totally right or totally wrong?
–I am always right, always. (lol)
4. If wrong, how long until you realized it? If right, how long until the other person realized it?
–I’m not really one to say sorry but if I do realize the other person has a point then I just won’t say anything to end the discussion.
5. Did you go a lengthy of time without speaking?
–I’m not the type of person who can go very long without talking, especially to my husband.
6. Who made the first move?
–Most of the time we argue about the little things so it’s easy to forget about that. We argue and after a while we talk like we never argued at all.
7. Do you feel the situation is resolved now?
–Yeah, he cleaned up his mess.
8. Do you ever give in, knowing you weren’t wrong, to keep the peace?
–No I don’t give in.
9. Was there permanent damage even though you’ve made up?
–No, we’re married so we resolve our issues and then when it’s over we don’t talk about it anymore (we kiss and make up). When you are living with someone there will always be differences in opinion and the way things are handled around the home. It’s about talking about it and compromises.
Happy Saturday everyone!~
