It’s amazing how fast time flew by, it seems only yesterday that I was a nervous mom of a tiny little baby and now I’m a mom running after her active toddler. When I was pregnant with my little girl I was always busy browsing online for articles about baby care. I based my baby checklist online and it helped me a lot in narrowing down the important items we need to buy before her arrival. At first I had a lot of my list, items that I thought would be useful for the baby and items that I thought was a good buy. I knew we needed a strerilizer, bottle warmer and breast pump. I knew these were important items and we have to buy good brand too so we chose Avent. I knew I want to breastfeed my daughter so I bought a pump to help establish a good milk supply. It turned out that I would be using the pump for the most part of my breastfeeding journey. I knew we needed a stroller so I did my research on different stroller brands too, I didn’t want to scrimp on the stroller since this is something we will be using for a while. We decided to get a Mclaren and we were pleased with our choice. Of course it had to be pink for the baby girl. Yes my newborn checklist was long but I’ve narrowed it down to the basics before we went shopping. Of course gifts come pouring down when there’s a baby shower so we were all set before our princess made her grand entrance. Looking back I’m glad I did all the research during my pregnancy. I was a first time mom so finding tinytotlot which is an informative website for newborn babies was a great help. I know I would be a bit wiser with baby #2 but I will still turn to helpful websites for tips when the time comes. I am certain that I will still be breastfeeding my second child and I will be more decided to make it last longer than 18 months. Right now I’m browsing online about toddlers and it is fascinating to learn more about my little girl with these articles. I see it as a guide, I know each child is different and I embrace my little girl for who she is and she’s one smart little girl. I love being a mom…..
