These are some of the latest pictures of my little girl. She was playing on the floor but when she saw me with the camera she came up to me and posed
It’s so much fun to take her pictures. I have some fun videos too but I have to post it some other time. I can’t transfer the file from my mobile phone to my computer through bluetooth and I can’t find my usb cable.

Just look at how cute is this photo. My little girl was playing with her Happy meal toys and she decided that she would like Buck and Sid to become pirates and travel in their “pirate ship” together. It’s so cute when you see little kids use their imagination as they play. I don’t know the effects of industrial products to people but I certainly know that toys need not to be expensive for kids to enjoy playing with them. Sure she loves her Vtech, Leapfrog and Fisher Price toys and I buy her those too but these little things comes free with a Happy Meal purchase and she enjoys them just as much as she likes the activities in her two laptop toys. What is priceless is seeing their imagination at work through playing. You can’t put money on that.
My little girl loves to watch cartoons. Our TV is pretty glued to playhouse disney channel every morning. I try to limit her TV time but I let her watch her favorite shows. She currently loves these shows: Mickey and Friends, Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, Tigger & Pooh, Word World and Animal Mechanicals. I think our reading time and her watching these shows helps with her vocabulary. She picks up words we don’t use in our conversation such as Kettlebell on TV while our reading makes her more curious. She would always ask me about the things she sees when we go out. It is fun that she is learning so much.
I have been so busy with other things such as designing, spending time with my little girl ans keeping up with household chores that I’ve neglected this blog a little bit. How can I ever optimize seo tools when I don’t spend time on the web anymore. It’s sad that I’m not documenting my little girl’s growth here on this blog too, she’s growing up way too fast and learning new things everyday. I should be able to share these little things here for my family and friends to read. Eventhough they don’t see her often at least they know what she’s up to. Good thing I still take lots of photos and scrap pages about her.
It’s really hard to plan what to cook for a week. I try to limit grocery shopping to one to two times a week so I need to prepare a list and know what to cook ahead of time. I try to cook healthy dishes (as much as possible) for the family too. While we were at the supermarket last night I saw some samples of natural weight loss supplements being given away. I was tempted to get one for myself before we checkout our items but I totally forgot about it. I might come back tomorrow to see if it’s still available.

Lately Iyah is the one chasing me with her toy camera. She would come up to my and say “smile Mommy” then would press the shutter of her camera like a real photographer would. She even set it on timer once just so she could be in the picture with me. It was funny seeing her put her camera on the table then she sat on my lap and said “say cheese!” and then waited a few seconds (because the camera was on timer….lol) before moving again. She picked up this from me, hehehe. I better buy her a toy camera that actually works for her birthday. Looks like I have a budding photographer in the making ![]()
My little girl loves listening to music on my Omnia. She would ask me for the earphones and then lie down in bed to listen to my playlist. I told my husband that in a few years we might look for wholesale ipods since we might need to get more than one. The way my little girl tinkers the laptop and mobile phone in two years (or three) she can operate the gadgets herself. Kids these days learn about gadgets at a young age, I just hope she doesn’t get her hands on a Nintendo DS soon.

We went to the National Orchid Garden with Ninang Adel and boy I was glad you walked happily for the most part of that afternoon. There was construction going on but we managed to get lots of nice photos. Of course you love running around the grounds of the garden and also you loved having your photos taken too. I was so pleased with how your photos turned out. It is amazing how much you’ve grown my sweet little girl.
I’m glad Iyah is not into climbing on things. It would be more tiring to take care of an active toddler who loves to climb on grill guards of our windows and door. She doesn’t jump on the bed too, well I don’t let her stand on the bed for too long (to prevent the jumping). I guess she’s one of those kids who likes to sit and read a book, doodle or watch TV. I think girls are also different from boys. My bestfriend said that her nephews are always bouncing and climbing around the house. I guess little girls likes asking questions more.
My little girl learns more and more things each day. She’s been insisting on brushing her teeth lately. She knows that we need to put toothpaste first too. I guess letting her see my brush my teeth gave her the idea that she can do it by herself too. In a few months time I’m going to schedule her for her first dentist appointment. I hope I could find a good dentist like the orange nj dentist, I’ve been reading a lot of good feedbacks online. I don’t want her to have a traumatic experience, I’m not a big fan of dentists myself so I hope I could find someone who would be gentle.
