December is fast approaching and I’m making my Christmas shopping list early in hopes that I’ll avoid the Christmas rush and finish shopping by second week of December. I think Personalized Jewelry is one of the gifts I’d like to give my little girl. It would be nice to have a pretty necklace with a small pendant with her name engraved at the back. Something she could treasure for years. I would like some dainty and small that would look nice around her neck when she’s wearing a dress. It is so much fun to shop for a little girl….
I used wish I had a Canon camera, I think they’re good and I like to own one myself. Doesn’t have to be a DSLR , a good point and shoot camera would be fine for me. The thing is my husband likes Sony and that’s the only brand he will buy when it comes to camera. So here I am with a Sony DSLR and I realized that I love it, it doesn’t really matter what brand of camera I use but the photos that I take. As long as I love them I’m happy ![]()
I like surfing the internet, especially at night when everyone is asleep. I find that I stumble upon articles and find information that would otherwise be unknown to me through the world wide web. For instance, I know nothing about water softener until I read an article about it online. Of course there’s also online shopping, so convenient to shop for things without going to crowded malls. I frequently window shop online too ![]()
So far I only have My Little Pony Styling Pony Pinkie Pie for Iyah’s Christmas gift this year. She received lots of toys for her birthday and I’m thinking twice about buying more this year. I did shop for clothes and she’ll receive lots of those come Christmas but toys maybe not from us. I would buy her more books I think, she’ll probably receive more toys from our friends so I don’t need to buy more.
We don’t have winter in my part of the world so there’s not going to be a snowman or skiing for us. It does get a little cold but now snowflakes here. That also means we won’t be needing motorhome towing since we won’t have several inches of snow in our midst. I do want to experience winter even just for once, I think I will like it. My husband said we could go to Korea for a short vacation, not sure when would that happen but I think it’s a great idea for a family vacation.
My MIL and my mom with be here for Christmas and New Year, that means lots of food will be served…lots of good food that would be too good to resist. I might need appetite suppressants just so I won’t over eat and wreck more havoc on my weight (lol). Well most people gain weight during holiday season so I guess that’s alright, it’s a time to enjoy and have fun with family anyway why spoil it by counting calories. I’m looking forward to the holidays, it’s going to be a memorable one for us this year.
We’re trying to work out if we can find a more comprenhensive insurance package, a better one than the current insurance we have. My husband is reading all the fine print because it’s easy to fall for cheap insurance only to find out later that there are certain clause on the fine print that we missed. He’s more careful and knows more about these things so I let him handle it. I will have to let my mom review their insurance as well. It’s the end of the year soon and maybe it’s time for a change insurance wise that is.

This little girl keeps us on our toes. She’s a bright and funny little girl, she does have her moments sometimes but still she’s a darling most of the time. I love that we can carry conversations with each other and it’s amazing how little minds work. I don’t think she is bulol, except maybe when she’s singing and she doesn’t really know all the words so she mumbles the lines (lol). She can write I and H on her nickname, still working on how to connect the lines for the A and Y. She likes Minnie Mouse still but she’s branching out and liking other cartoon characters as well like Dora the explorer and Little Einsteins. When you ask her what is her favorite color, the answer is always the same…Pink. Her favorite number, 83 (the bus that passes by our block…lol). She knows her daddy has to go to the office everyday. Whenever I get frustrated with her, she will come to me and say “Don’t be mad Mommy, I’m here” and give me a smile. She’s still shy around adults but she loves to play with other kids. Ahhh she’s an active toddler….
I love home decorating magazines because I get to see all the latest trends in home decorating and the lovely homes they feature each month. There’s two magazines I buy each month, Home & Decor and Square Rooms. Both are local magazines therefore the features and articles are something I can identify with, I don’t buy foreign magazines anymore. There’s one kitchen I love in their last issue, it has stainless steel tiles which is something I would consider when we redo our kitchen, I want a modern contemporary home with clean lines and no clutter. Magazines gives me lots of ideas and inspiration.
I’m not really into cell phones as much as I was back in college. Maybe because I’m on a corporate plan now and I only get to upgrade every 18 months, or maybe I’m older now that it doesn’t bother me anymore what cell phone I’m using. I do love what I have now, it has everything I need so I’m pretty happy with it. I have a Samsung Omnia that I got for my birthday and I don’t think I’m going to upgrade anytime soon. Even the little girl loves this phone, she likes taking pictures with it.
