My little girl sweats easily, I swear I don’t make her wear long sleeves pajamas because even with the a/c on she would still sweat while asleep. Forget about heated blanket because we don’t have winter here so it’s always warm and this girl definitely do not want a blanket when she sleeps. I still need one though, not that it’s cold or anything but I just like to be underneath it when I sleep. It’s nice that my mom got her a few sets of pjs with spaghetti straps

I was reading up on the 2010 Grammy winners and of course the Best and Worst dress as well and was pleased that Taylor Swift won four awards. I wasn’t expecting to see the name of richard willich but I was hoping to see her win, I like her and her songs. I have her album Fearless on my iphone and her songs are my most played list. Speaking of albums, I spent a lot of time on iTunes these days not only for the apps but for the music as well. I couldn’t bear spending a ton on albums so I just buy a couple of songs here and there. I’m tempted though with the Valentine promotions with albums marked down to just $7.99, I wish I could have more paypal funds soon.

I had a little time this morning to surf online and I found some interesting sites that I would like to visit again. Of course a few of those sites are shopping related (no surprise there) but some like http://www.wholesaleinsurance.net are about insurance and health care information that I found useful as well. I love doing my surfing in the morning while I’m having my cup of coffee and everyone else is asleep. What a nice way to start the day….

My little girl sure knows how to melt my heart, sigh I can never stay mad at her. Whenever I’m a little frustrated with her for various reasons (she still wants to play even if it’s already her bedtime, she spilled water on the carpet for the nth time, her toys are all over the house) she would come to me in her and say, “Don’t be mad Mommy, Iyah loves you” I instantly forget all my frustrations and just want to give he a hug. How can a mom stay mad with a little girl saying I love you? She’s such a sweet little girl and I love her so much.

My dad is coming home a few weeks before his 50th birthday and he wants to renovate the garage as his birthday gift to himself. He is now asking me to look for nice garage floor supplier/contractor through our friends. First I don’t know anyone who does garage renovations so I may not be of any help to him but I will encourage him to push through with this project. The man has been working abroad for sixteen years so if he wants to fix his garage let him fix his garage (lol). Kidding aside I think it’s a nice present for himself, something that is truly and he can do whatever he wants. I’m sure he’s excited about this project.

I have a lot to do today, good thing I keep a list of these things on my phone (thank you iphone apps) so I won’t forget. It is nice that the little girl goes to school for a few hours five days a week, I an squeeze in an errand or two while she’s in class. I move a lot faster when I don’t have an active toddler in tow. I have to drop off mortgage life insurance quotes at a friend’s house before I head to the bank and I plan to do this after I drop my little girl to school. I thought that it won’t make much of a difference having a child in preschool for a couple of hours on weekdays but it turns out that I could use those hours to run errands

I went to visit a friend’s house this afternoon and I can’t help but admire the tiles of their bathroom. I would love to renovate our bathroom in the near future (if our budget permits) and I really like how their bathroom. I would love big tiles in sort of stone finish for the bathroom, and a nice square sink with built in cabinets at the bottom. A nice glass door for the shower would be great too. I always browse the home decorating magazines I have and I constantly get ideas and inspiration on the look I want to achieve for our home. Now if only we have a money tree growing in the backyard or something….

This was Iyah’s 3D ultrasound, she was exactly twenty weeks here. How amazing it is to see her an active, beautiful little girl now three years later. Reminds me of how blessed I am to be her mom.

One of the things that I really want to avoid is being late for the little girl’s class, I make sure we arrive ten minutes before her class and I arrived ten minutes before her class is dismissed as well. I know she’ll be scared when she doesn’t see me waiting for her by the door, and I don’t want that to happen. So far we’ve been doing so well, I love that her class is in the afternoon because we take our time to prepare in the morning. I hope I can say the same for the other things on my to do list, I’ve been meaning to get term life insurance quotes from a friend since last week and I haven’t talked to her yet. I have to do something about this, it’s already Friday and I can’t slack off anymore.

I don’t know how many more life insurance quote I’ll be getting over the next few days, I already have a few in my hand but I called one agent and suddenly other agents have been calling me at home offering their quotes. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or these are a bunch of agents working for the same company or something but I find it odd. I don’t like getting calls from people I don’t know (read telemarketers), I hate it even more when we’re taking a nap and the phone rings. Sometimes I just pull the plug so I won’t be forced to crawl out of bed to answer anymore calls.
