I sure am raising a little girl who loves the camera. Friends would often comment on how comfortable she is front of the camera, true enough my girl will strike a pose and smile if she sees one pointed at her. I guess I’ve been taking lots of pictures of her since she was born that this is no longer something new to her. I don’t mind of course because I get nice pictures all the time.

It gives me joy whenever my daughter comes up to me and say “I love you mommy” just because she wants to. I would always say that I love her too and give her a kiss. This happens several times a day and it’s unexpected most of the time. Like when we’re coloring together or I’m helping her wash her hands or when we’re lying down and chatting.

My little girl, I love you too.

I have this nagging joint pain on my finger for a couple of days now and it’s really annoying the heck out of me. I was thinking this would go away by itself but it’s been a few days and it’s not getting any better. My husband told me I should have this checked by a doctor but what would I say, my finger hurt? lol. At one point I will probably go of course but I just don’t remember what I did to cause this pain, and it’s only on one finger…really weird. I hope this pain goes away soon.

We’re enjoying school vacation by relaxing here at home today. My plan was to do some online work as the little girl play with her toys. As it turned out it was playtime for both of us, I couldn’t say no when she asked me to play with her….how could I. I have things to do but those things can wait, eventhough I should be reading about colon cleansing reviews my little girl comes first. As much as possible I try to drop anything I’m doing when the princess needs me.

We went to Downtown East yesterday because Iyah has been bugging me for the past three days that she wants t ride a ferris wheel. We had a late lunch at there and went to see the ferris wheel, on our way to get the tickets though the little girl saw the carousel and changed her mind. She said she wanted to ride the carousel this time, I told her she can ride it and the choo choo train but she won’t be able to ride the ferris wheel anymore to which she agreed. She had a great time, I accompanied her at the carousel but she went to the train ride by herself….the ferris wheel ride completely forgotten (lol). After that since the weather was great I told my husband we should head to Pasir Ris Park and let Iyah play at the playground, so off we went. We were dropped off the other side of the park where families who are camping pitched their tents so we had to walk a little bit to reach the playground. It was nice seeing families enjoy the great outdoors, dads flying kites with their kids, grandparents preparing to barbeque their food, children biking and rollerblading…everyone having a great time. I’m not really an outdoors type of person, I do not like walking on grass or getting all sweaty and sticky or being bitten by bugs but the thought of us having a relaxing afternoon seem to be a nice idea.
Anyway when we reached the playground a lot of kids were already playing there, good thing we were able to spot an empty swing for Iyah. She loved the swing (too bad the playgrounds we have near our home doesn’t have swings) and she kept telling us how much fun it is and she insisted that I push her higher and higher. After she got tired of the swing we went to explore the other areas of the playground, she had fun at the slides of course and we got a lot of nice pictures. She was sad when it was time for us to go but we promised her we will be back next time. I hope we could bring our dslr next time so I can have really nice pictures of the place.

When our laptop died on me a few years back I was glad we pad extra to have a 3 year laptop warranty instead of the usual 1 year warranty that comes with the purchase. We didn’t pay a singe cent even when the lcd and fan had to be replaced. We only paid a one dollars more for the extended warranty which saved us five times more than if we didn’t. I’m just glad we gave in to the salesman’s offer otherwise we would have been forking out more cash.

My dad is coming home in a few weeks and then we’ll be visiting them for a short vacation next month. I’m sure he’s excited to see the little girl but I know he’ll be busy taking care of some paper work when he gets home. The home and car insurance is due and he’ll probably get rv insurance quote as he gets the proper documentation done. Hopefully by next month his schedule would be free for us to go out of town and just relax.

Iyah loves to color, I bought her a lot of different coloring books and I ask her what book she wants to use every afternoon when it’s time for some art activities. So this afternoon she picked the animals coloring book from the shelf and I set up her table and crayons on the bed. She then proceeded to work on her masterpiece. The photos above show the busy little girl doing her thing and the other is the finished page. You can see that she also likes to write her name on the pages she works on I love how she likes to use different colors on her pages now, it used to be just one color for the whole page when she was younger now she likes to mix them all. Notice how she’s better in coloring inside the lines now too. I love seeing all her artwork, I love watching her so focused in what she’s doing too.

I love my iphone so it is only normal that I have a lot of iphone accessories to go with it. With the upcoming release of iphone 4 I know I won’t be able to upgrade anytime soon and also I’m thinking what I will do to all the accessories I have if I do upgrade.

I’m loving school vacation, the little girl and I get to do fun things and go places on a weekday which is great. We don’t have big plans this month but we’re definitely enjoying ourselves. It would have been nice if we had Branson tickets but nevertheless just relaxing at home and going out every few days suits us just fine. I like having no plans and the little girl does too, she knows it’s her school vacation but we do a lot of learning activities at home and I don’t think she minds at all.
