My little girl’s birthday is just a months away and I’m already thinking about her party and the gifts we will get for our princess. The party will be small and we’ll get her a few nice gifts so wholesale diamonds is definitely not on my list. I told my husband we will be having a party with friends for her until her 7th birthday and after that we will just be celebrating with family. I enjoy planning her birthday (although I’m not sure my husband enjoys paying for it hehehe) and I love seeing the look of delight on her face having a special day for her. She changes her mind everyday on what would her birthday cake be, I’m set on having a Minnie Mouse party for her but right now she wants a barbie cake for her birthday (yesterday she wants an Angelina cake) so I’m keeping our options open for now.
My little girl turns three today. Wow three years old already, the years few by just like that. It’s bittersweet for me because as much as I love that she is growing up to be this sweet, thoughful, smart and beautiful little girl I can’t help but feel a teeny bit sad that she is indeed growing up. I love her to bits and I love that she depends on me and needs me by her side all the time. If we could only freeze time even for a little bit, to savor each moment. I feel sad that I don’t get to blog about her, I don’t get to write in my journal all the little things she say or do as often as I should. I don’t have the all the exact dates of her milestones and I don’t know them by heart either. But I’m glad that I get to be there for her everyday, I may not write about it often but it doesn’t matter because I’m with her and I get to experience those precious moments and I get to see those milestones.
I’m being sentimental because by baby is now three years old. I can her her calling “Mommy where are you?” and I’m sure I’ll get a sloppy kiss and hug when she gets here. We have a party for friends later this evening, a small celebration for our little princess whom we love dearly.
Happy Birthday Iyah! Mommy and Daddy loves you!
My baby girl’s birthday is in a few weeks and I’m busy looking for Birthday Party Invitations online. I’m just as excited as she is about her upcoming birthday party. I have it all planned out and it’s going to be a fun celebration.
It’s going to be a simple party here at home with our friends, I got everything we need to party. My little girl knows it will be her special day soon and I can see that she is just as excited as mommy. She knows that she will be turning three and when is her exact birthday if you ask her. Oh and she will ask for presents too (lol), she kept practicing how to blow the candle after singing the birthday song it is so fun to watch her.
My daughter’s birthday is only a few weeks away and I’m almost in panic. It seems like it was yesterday we were choosing Christening Invitations for her baptism and now I’ll be distributing her 3rd birthday party invitations. I think I’m doing pretty well but as you know most moms are always nervous when preparing for their children’s party. I can’t believe how time flew by.
It was great that there was a lot of choices when it comes to baby christening invitations. Even almost three years ago I was overwhelmed with the options I was able to find online. It was great that as a first time mom I was able to choose a beautiful invitation for my daughter. If you are a first time mom looking for baptism invitations you can visit http://www.announcements-shoppe.com/ and I’m sure you’ll find one that you will like, I know I did.

This pretty doll is one of my little girl’s birthday gifts. I can’t believe her birthday is next month, I better start scouting for birthday presents. I found this on ebay which is great. The seller’s daughter got two of these for her birthday so she’s selling one at a cheaper price than Toys R’ Us (yay for a great find). The hispanice version of this doll could pass for a boy to me if you remove the hair clip. I don’t know if it’s just me, I mean put a tuxedo on it and it will really look like a boy (well that’s what I think anyway). I’m going to the mall this week to look for more gifts.
The little girl was busy playing with the balloon while the adults were busy setting up the table for her little celebration here at home. I loved this photo my husband took, she looked at him and he managed to click the shutter fast enough before she moved on and went back to chasing her balloons again. Ahhh photos like this make happy. Of course this will be on my scrapbook to do list (which is piling up) this week.
I want to make a separate post about Iyah’s birthday cupcakes because we loved it so much. Since the little girl’s real birthday and her birthday bash is so close together I only ordered 24 cupcakes (she’s 24 months old) because we will have a big cake two days later. I ordered from the same supplier we got last year. Only this year I chose a different design. The price was reasonable and they do home delivery which was great. If only I could find cheap t-shirts at this price that would be really helpful come Christmas.

More photos here.
It arrived an hour late but it wasn’t a big deal. Each piece looked really nice. The little girl kept calling it ice cream and wanted to have a piece even before her candle blowing. If I decide to have cupcakes for Christmas and not a log cake I will surely order from them again.
She’s officially two!!!
The princess is still sleeping and so is daddy. We have a busy day ahead of us that’s why I’m up early. I’ll cook a little feast for the family later and the cupcakes will be delivered this afternoon. Hoping for a nice weather so we can go to the rooftop garden for some pictures.
Iyah’s birthday.
Everything is set, well almost.
So far we have 18 kids and 7 babies confirmed coming to the party. It could be more ![]()
We’re just counting days now! Party planning updates…
I know there will be a few coming with their babies on it. We will bring Iyah’s Mclaren too and we need an area for that won’t get in the way. Afterall strollers are really helpful towing a little one around. It is by far one of the most useful baby item we’ve purchased.
That’s all I can think of right now. We should be fine. Phew I get stressed out when the event is getting near, I hope all goes well.
