Iyah’s birthday is a few weeks away and I’ve been busy preparing for her birthday party and shopping for her birthday presents. So far I’ve bought these for our little princess…

I want to go to Toys R’ Us to to checkout the accessories they have. I plan to pick up a few to go with her new doll. I like the snack time highchair set, sweet slumbers bedtime set and all dolled up dressup set. I’ll buy her one or two more baby alive doll for Christmas more accessories would be great for playtime.
I also got her these Dora the Explorer playsets….

Let’s Go Adventure Schoolhouse

Let’s Go Adventure Minis Treehouse
There’s two other playsets but it wasn’t available at the store. I’m going to see if I can find the Fairytale Castle playset and the Animal Rescue Center playset at Toys R’ Us.
Lastly I’m going to buy her a big Minnie Mouse Plush toy which I think she will love. She likes a several cartoon characters but she loves Minnie Mouse the most. I think these will do for now, Christmas is only a few months away so there will be more time for more shopping ![]()
I finally got the frames for Iyah’s room (at Ikea of course) and I was able to get some pretty patterned papers at my local scrapbook store. I cut them to size and placed each one on the frames. I love the end result…

I will ask my dear husband to put these on the wall exactly like this, I think it’s going to be pretty. Oh I haven’t had the chance to take pictures of the shelves we mounted on the wall of her room. I decided not to to with a specific them for her room, especially cartoon theme…even if she adores Minnie Mouse. Her room is a work in progress still but so far it looks nice. She have a nice extendable bed that can be adjusted from cot size to a single size bed. A storage unit with pretty baskets for her toys, shelves to display her stuff toys and the frames above for one side of the bedroom wall. We picked up a nice pink and girly rug and a pink bedsheet set too.

These new Crocs are so cute! My little girl is going to outgrow her current pairs so it’s time for new ones. The thing is I already bought her five new pairs (at a bigger size) so these two cute pairs will have to wait until Christmas. Who knows maybe she’ll get one for her birthday, oh and speaking of birthday I’m finalizing the menu for the party. I will order from the same caterer on her first birthday party so I know the food will be great. I might need diet pill that works after the party now that I think about it, or I could just look at all the yummy food. I’m still on the fence on the cake though, I like two designs and I’m still undecided what to order.
I found these prints while I was browsing Etsy for art prints for Iyah’s room. I think these are really pretty. I plan to purchase this set and hang them on her bedroom wall. I’m thinking just above the desk in her room. I don’t really want her room to be too babyish but I still want it to look girly and pretty. Character themed room is out of the question, she might not like Minnie Mouse next year and I don’t want to have to redo everything if that happens. I’m loving dandelions lately, maybe I’ll go with that theme…I’m not sure yet. Well that’s the reason while I’m still not done decorating her room, I can’t decide what to do with the walls. There’s also some shelves that needs to be installed so I can put up her stuffed toys. I’m thinking of buying a side table to put by the bed but until I decide what to do with the walls I’m not going to buy anymore furnitures.
These are some of the pretty clippies I found at Gymboree. I have lots more in my cart and I can’t decide which ones to keep, I might end up getting more than I should. Iyah has lots of clippies as it is but these are too cute not to buy. Her hair is longer now and I can tie it in a ponytail, loose ends come off eventually but still it’s a long way from the almost bald little baby girl of mine. I will order an clip holder from Etsy for all her clippies, I like to hang it on the wall but she might just play with them so I guess it’s better to hang it on her closet door.
I love these chunky crayons. My little girl and I spend time doing different activities everyday and one of it is coloring. It is frustrating however that I can’t find those big crayons here. The normal ones break easily and I have to constantly replace her crayons. Good thing I found these chunky crayons at Etsy. These are made from upcycled crayons, 100% non toxic and has a flat back so it won’t roll off the table. It’s cheap too. Oh these comes in different shapes as well but this set is my favorite. Can’t wait for these to arrive at my doorstep.
Love these cute dresses from Gymboree. I’m so tempted to shop for new dresses and shoes for Iyah, these would look so pretty on her. However since I just shopped for her I have to wait a while before I do another major shopping, maybe when we’ve moved to the new house and I’ve sorted all her clothes and find out how many of her clothes doesn’t fit her anymore. Just the other I’ve noticed some of her pants are too short for her. Good thing I got her 3 new pairs and some shorts too. For now I’ll just window shop at Gymboree…

I could be wearing this pair of jeans and this mary janes if these were an adult size. This is my daughter’s outfit by the way, we officially have a little lady in the house. No more cute little socks and soft soled shoes for a baby girl, we have shoes and sandals that could be worn my adults if it’s a bigger size. I like her wearing dresses but I must say she looks more grown up when she’s wearing jeans and I love her wearing jeans too. So much that I bought her three new pair of denim jeans (among other clothes of course) from Crazy 8 and Old Navy. It’s just so much fun dressing up a little girl.
I went a little crazy shopping for the little girl. These are too cute to resist so I gave in. It’s good that my husband doesn’t know that I got her six pairs of sandals from Gymboree for her birthday or he’ll think that I want our daughter to have a closet full of shoes before she turns three (lol). I’ll just pass these as part of her Christmas loot. I also ordered her dresses for Christmas and New Year, nothing frilly and fancy but both are cute.

I can’t wait until my little girl is big enough for us to start collecting things. She’s at the age where she get the thrill out of throwing her toys so it’s not a good time yet. I would love for us to have a Littlest Pet Shop collection. Just look at the adorable little dog above, I don’t have to buy any dog supplies for it. Sometimes my husband teases me that it will be my collection and not our daughter’s because I’m so into it as well. That’s hard to say that I won’t love it too but I’m sure the little girl would enjoy playing with it as well.
